Rheumatoid Arthritis is associated with an inflammation of joints that can damage or rupture the cartilage (a smooth, rubbery tissue that is present on the ends of bones).When this happens it affects the joint gaps between the bones making it compressed, and eventually loss of normal motion of the joints.

RA is an autoimmune disease, in which the immune system of the body which is the body’s defense system starts attacking healthy joint tissues, causing inflammation in the synovium (the tissue lining inside the joints).

Joints is very important part of the body which helps in performing various movements like – bending, running, walking, and perform various other activities. So when our joints begin to tear or starts swelling they stop working, because there is a constant pain and discomfort like pain, swelling, redness and restricted movements.

  • Water walking- water walking is a great workout for people with arthritis. It reduces pain in the joints; water walking strengthens and tones the muscles, helps free movement of joints. Moreover water exercise is weight bearing exercise, it promotes bone density.
  • Cycling – cycling helps to improve your joint movements and also it is one of the safe and easy exercise for people with arthritis. Cycling also keeps your heart healthy.
  • Gardening– gardening is the best way to lift your mood and not think about the pain caused by It is a kind of exercise which can help relieve your joint pain and also aids in free movements of joints, but make sure to not over strain the muscles and joints.
