Physical effects: To save you from much science lecture, metabolism and immunity are the two elements of healthy body that fall prey to sleep depravity. Cut to short, lack of sleep causes sleep depravity, which makes you lousy because your metabolism is slow that result in weakened immunity and prone to host of other physical alignments. By the way that also includes over-weight and obesity is also alignments and a big boulder to metabolism. But then one might ask how a lazy person could have sleep depravity at first place! They possibly have the more hours to sleep then an active fellow!

Well the secret about sleep is, it’s not how many hours you sleep it’s about timely and well you sleepy, and active person win the race. There are so many factors that can contribute and cause sleep depravity, like the kind of food you eat, the amount of time you spend with electronics and especially those who have display on it. And the main factor is irregular sleeping pattern of either not completing sleeping hours or just not sleeping on particular time set and keeps switching sleeping hours. And this can also lead addiction for caffeine and in most case smoking due to subconscious urge to get metabolic kick.

Psychological factors: It is an undeniable fact that active people have better chances of dealing successfully life’s stress with positivity. Compared to lazy people who develop tendency to procrastination, cause resting somewhere thinking about problem and make themselves thinking makes them smart and it all makes sense.

Sleeping at irregular times and for inconsistent hours can also make cause some psychological effects like lose concentration, durability to imply brain on solving critical problems, gradual decrease in enthusiasm and procrastination does rest of the damage. Sleep depravity causes slow metabolic rate which can also eventfully affects reproductive function, which is certainly not good for relationships.

Other factors: It is not only reproductive function is at stake, slow metabolism and lower immunity can also makes you vulnerable to health complication, as any health related article you read, sleep will be included in the list of things you should do to recover. Though some of the well known side-effects lazy people are prone to are less-effective digestive system, weight and cholesterol problems and not-so-effective cognitive functions!
